I envy you...
I love your style...the houses, the long grass, everything. The way 'the monster' is depicted, twitching and crooked, is simply amazing.
This should be in a gallery, really....
I really enjoyed your style. The body falling off the bridge was very haunting. I also enjoy making flash movies with a very deeply seeded theme...and I was constantly guessing the one behind this...first I thought it was about the holocaust...then a father being abandoned...
His whole life he seems to be worried about going to hell, and trying to help others not to go get tricked into going as well (hence the pamphlets and downward arrows). However, after his son and his wife dies, he questions his faith and turns his back on the cross not caring what happens to him when he kills himself. Fortunately, its his lack of faith that finally allows him to go to heaven (the upward arrow)...
Keep in mind you wont get the score you deserve, because this is newgrounds and your movie isn't anime, violent, or a comedy (unfortunately, artistic talent isn't always as appreciated)...
Anyway, I've written too much. Awesome work!
YETI!?
You had me at the Sky Free Yeti...I miss him so...
Wow...just wow...
This is ingenious...your hard work is very appreciated!
Very nice story...
It kept me interested, I liked the whole "technology overwhelmed by nature" theme...when today the opposite is used so often...Very nicely animated, though, I wish he stayed in the jungle...bah!
Very well done...
Extremely well done, both to you and the audio engineer. It actually made me laugh, good job!
Chris DuBoobies is the man!
Shiny!
This submission has one the coolest color selections that I've seen on Newgrounds. I really like the bright colors that you used, and their minimalism really helped in the illusion of a third dimension. Very, very well done!
Well done!
I can see that you drew on a lot of techniques of other projects you've worked on. Very entertaining. The only thing I'd change would be to rotoscope the live action shots...it was just too much of a contrast, and brought me out of the moment. Good work though!
Love me.
